Search Engine Optimisation, or SEO, can help your website rank higher in the search engines, so more of your targeted audience find your site.

On Page SEO

On-Page SEO refers to the things you can do to optimise your web pages so that your site ranks higher in the search engines. things such as:

  • How much you include relevant keywords and key phrases
  • How you title images and files
  • How you structure page URLs

All these play a big part in getting your site noticed by the search engines, and subsequently, your target market.

Off Page SEO

Off-Page SEO covers the things you can do outside of your website, in order to get your site noticed. Years ago, most SEO was On-Page SEO and the only Off-Page SEO were links from other sites back to your site.

But since the advancement of social media, review sites and other  supplementary online content, Off-Page SEO now plays a much bigger role in how high your website ranks. So these need to be taken care of if your site is to be seen online, especially if your business has plenty of local competition.

Many business owners are not aware of some basic steps they can take for their site to be more visible online.
